Well....

That was interesting! I learned some new and maybe exciting "stuff" from the responses to the survey. In fact, I'll need to post them in two parts.

Here is the responses to all but ONE question. The question about your favorite authors and stories is large enough to rate it's own page next week!

After many of the responses, I'm going to give my commentary on the question and answers, they will be in this color

First, there were 29 replys, and everybody didn't answer every question.
All numbers given are out of these 29.
1. What gender do you consider yourself? Male, Female, TG Male ( f to m), TG Female ( m to f)?

   Male 18 , Female 2, TG Male 1, TG Female 8

2. How old are you? ( really!)

   Only 2 ages had more than one person ( 37 & 49 ) the rest range between 24 and 63 with the majority hovering in the late 30's to mid 40's

3. How often do you visit Sapphire's Place?

   Weekly 4, biweekly 6, monthly 3, daily 2 , "all the time" 3

4. How often do you read TG Fiction?

   Weekly 8, biweekly 4, monthly 5, daily 8 , "lots" 3

   yes:29 ( after thinking about it, this was a stupid question, if you didn't read this stuff on-line, you wouldn't be getting the channel, would you?

    Only two people filled this in and it was for 1) Non-human transforms 2) Teen or Pre-teen ( nonsexual) transforms

    Any 10, Female 3, Both 1 No Lover 1, Male 0, Most people commented that the story dictated who the love was, but they WANTED a "love interest" in the story

15. Please tell us some of your favorite authors and/or stories.

16. Tell me a little about your system.....

    When mentioned, the overwhelming number use a Pentium based system, with only one person admitting to a 486, and one I didn't understand

17. What Operating System do you use? ( Win95, Mac, Win3.x, Unix/Linux, Dos, etc...) Here is the second most unbalanced answer, Win95 24, NT4.0 2 Os2 1 Unix 1

18. What type of net connection do you use ( Modem - what speed, ISDN, Direct Connect )? Cable Modem 1, 56k Modem 3, 33.6 : 5 , 28.8 : 11, 14.4 : 2 ( ouch!) and direct connection 1

19. Do you use the Pointcast Software for anything OTHER than Sapphire's Channel? Yes 15, No 14 ( Honestly Folks, There is some really good stuff on Pointcast OTHER then my Channel. Check out the Wired or ZifDavis Channels, or The New York Times! Get at least the Weather, !
