The Genesis Factor
I read recently that NASA launched a satellite to collect
particles from the Sun and return them to earth for study. The satellite is
scheduled to bring its cargo back in 2004. The satellite is supposed to be
snagged in mid-air with a helicopter as it drifts back to earth via parachute.
It will then be taken to a biologically protected facility. Although it is
unlikely that the satellite will return anything hazardous I wonder what would
happen if…
