This is in Waldo's own words

Theories that my stories are based on:

I am a frustrated story-teller. Not a writer, but a story-teller. Thus my frequent "f*#k the general writer"s guidelines' as I endeavor to get the story across from my viewpoint.

I like to tell what the person felt and thought, more than to describe what the person did. Thus the very frequent and too-heavy first person viewpoints.

I like to start the story, then tell how the main participants felt about the story, so I sometimes (all right, most of the time) re-discuss all ready told events, but from another participant's viewpoint.

I like humor. I try to inject a little humor in each story, based upon the person's personality. As in the Bond story, where Bond does not recognize one of the wines.

I like for my stories to be as realistic as possible, so I do some research into the subject matter and blend in my research as much as possible. But then my objective is to tell the story, so I ignore some "what would a reasonable person do in this situation" answers. As in the story MIND, where a responsible gender dysphoria therapist works out a plot where they participate in sex with their patients.

I don't like the "Hello, we have never met before, but let's f*#k" quick stories that are typically found on the Internet. Whoa. I do like them, but would like to see a little more storyline. Why did he want to fuck her? Was it good for both of them? Was the next time better? So my stories are a little long-winded as I try to build a plot and story-line. If I was writing for pay, I would have an understanding editor who would clean up some of the long-winded areas, but seeing as how I do this for free, there is no one but me to decide when something is needed or not needed in the story. So most of my stories are in the 100 to 140k range.

I dont like the story to be 100 percent about sex. I try to make the sex scenes a part of the story and to help the story. I try to write the sex scene as a part of the participant's character or changing character.

I like for the story topic to interest me, because I have to live with it for several weeks while I think about the possible things that could happen. Most of my stories have a very strong transgender theme because the concept of transgender fascinates me. Damn, another secret revealed. The ability to change bodies and identities is a primeval desire because it offers an escape from the humdrum realities of life. Another concept is mind control. While those topics interest me, it does not mean that I practice them. Just as Rod Sterling never visited the Twilight Zone or Alfred Hitchcock never murdered anyone, I have never experienced either concept. Because my stories are typically very long, I start working on them, shelf them for awhile, re-read them to see/update unclear areas, and re-start them when I feel like it. Sometimes, if I am not sure where to take a storyline, I start another story, to get my mind away from the first story. Thus the reason for my many stories in progress.

I don't like for the story to be about just changing clothes. I read some other stories and it is almost as if the actor/actress has nothing to do, but change clothes, with each change describing the color, style, etc. When I describe the clothes, it is to show a change in attitude or to advance the plot.

I like different topics. While there will be some recurring concepts between stories to build the storyline, I try to pick different topics for each storyline. As examples, the AGENT story focuses on a brain transplant, CRUSHER focuses on a Transporter/Computer DNA cloning, MIND focuses on hypnotic mind control, and RODEO focuses on reconstructive surgery after an accident. In some cases, I have continued a storyline, such as the WEB, because there were so many possibilities with the storyline.

I like science fiction, so the three Star Trek stories (Crusher, Space Angel, and in-progress Layer-5) but each of them are about a different main character.

Now, some background:

Male, late forties, 6 foot tall, @ 220 pounds. Have the sort of body and looks that can get just about any woman that I want. Have never had a homosexual experience and intend to maintain that record. Only experience in women's clothing, was when my ex-wife dressed/made me up for a Halloween party (looked like one of those guys from the beer ads with my football player's body). If I was to somehow become a woman, I would probably settle down and be a lesbian.

I chose the name Waldo (as in Where is Waldo) because I found it difficult to call myself Nikki or Amanda.
